Special Update: Judy Merchant

Judy Merchant, wife of retired pastor Rev. Dan Merchant, passed away on Thursday, December 21st, 2017 following a long battle with cancer. The Merchants served at Cedar Street Baptist Church in Tipton prior to retiring to Dysart after Judy was diagnosed with cancer. During her life of service to the Lord, Judy particularly enjoyed women’s and children’s ministries. Faith Baptist Church in Knoxville Celebrates New Addition

Across Iowa 12/9/17

Dear IARBC family, Our camper was winterized and lovingly tucked away for the winter early in November. It has served us well for another year in ministry and for personal time away.  We towed it over 2500 miles without incident and truly enjoyed our home away from home. Indianola Regular Baptist Church Calls Pastor J. Ross Swope

Indianola Regular Baptist Church has called J. Ross Swope to be their new pastor. Pastor Swope and his wife, Renée, came from Evansville, Indiana where he was pastor at University Heights Baptist Church.   Pastor Swope candidated from October 28th – November 5th and accepted the call on November 5th.
