FBBC Introduction to Biblical Counseling Module
August 13, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - August 17, 2018 @ 10:00 pm
The seminary module, Introduction to Biblical Counseling, will once again be offered August 13-17 from 5–10 p.m. on Faith’s campus. This class explores key aspects of a Biblical philosophy and methodology of counseling along with foundational Biblical teaching on confession, repentance, forgiveness, anger, conflict, and helping those who suffer. Students who participate in this class can expect to grow in their own lives of godliness and in their abilities to assist others on the path of progressive sanctification.
Many churches have realized great benefit from bringing a group of ministry leaders to this class, using the class as both a training opportunity and a launching platform for ongoing conversation and ministry following the class.
Also, here is a pdf file that may be used to print Bulletin Inserts.
Finally, here is a sign-up sheet that you may use to register a group from your church for the class. Please return any completed sign-up sheets to me by Monday, August 6, via e-mail or regular mail.
Thank you for considering bringing a group. Please let me know if I can answer any questions or assist you in any way with promoting this opportunity in your church. Anyone high school age and above may conference-audit this class for a cost of just $100 plus $50 for the class notebook and workbook.
I hope a group from your church will join us.
Thank you,
newmanj@faith.edu P.S. The class is also available for graduate credit to those who qualify. You will find more details about taking this class for credit on Faith’s website.
