Dear Brethren,

We believe in the liberty of individual local churches as well as the necessity of unity and cooperation among our churches so that we may “stand firm in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel” (Phil 1:27). For this reason, we desire that Pastors of the like-minded churches in the area come and examine Daniel Vance and affirm with our church, through the laying on of hands, his calling to the ministry.

Titus 1:5-9 describes the requirements of an elder. The man must be “blameless” and full of godly character. Finally, “He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it.” Witnesses and Pastors who know Daniel will provide evidence of his character and conduct. A council of elders will examine his doctrine and readiness to teach and defend the Holy Scriptures.

A copy of Daniel’s doctrinal statement will be sent to your email upon reply and presented to you on the day of the council.
