After 47 total years of service, Pastor Dan Bunge retired from pastoral ministry on August 26th. Before coming to Emmanuel Baptist in Des Moines several years ago, Dan and his wife, Charlotte, had previously served churches in Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York. To celebrate and honor their years of ministry, the church hosted a special meal following their morning service with a devotional by State Representative Tim Capon. Please pray for the church family as they seek a new pastor and for the Bunges as they continue to serve at Emmanuel in this new season of retirement.
