Pastor Lonnie Koons (De Soto Calvary Baptist Church) went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 3. Pastor Koons was a bi-vocation pastor, working full time at MidAmerican Energy for 33 years (finally “retiring” in August 2020) and as pastor of DeSoto Calvary Baptist Church since 1987. He was married to Roxanne and together they had 2 children and 7 grandchildren. Our hearts go out to Roxanne, the rest of the Koons family, and De Soto Calvary Baptist Church at this time of loss. Visitation: Monday, February 7 from 4-7 pm
Funeral: Tuesday, February 8 at 10:30 am
