Tales & Treasures @ FBBC Bookstore

The Faith Bookstore is excited to announce it will begin book readings each month for kids of all ages. Our goal in starting this is to cultivate a love for reading and books in young people and provide an inviting and welcoming space to do so. Most months, we will be offering two sections for kids: one that is geared toward younger kids, and one that is for mid-grade to older kids. Often the books read in each section will be age-friendly versions of the same book, or the books will share similar themes.

We are excited that October will be the first month we are hosting this event! Our first reader is an author and FBBC alumnus, Tina Cho. She will be reading her book God’s Little Astronomer. We would love for you and your kids to join us! Attached is a flyer, bulletin insert, and PPT to be able to share with your church people. The book reading will be held in the bookstore at 10:30am on Saturday, October 12. We look forward to seeing you! -Faith Bookstore

Men for Christ Rally

Speaker: Carl Kerby

Discover the Joy of Persecution at the Men For Christ Rally in 2024!

*Image, title and description used from the Men for Christ Rally website.

The Men For Christ rally on March 22-23, 2024, is sure to be a transformative event that challenges men to shift their perspective on persecution. With the theme of "The Joy of Persecution," this rally will show how persecution can actually be a good thing.

It's time to reframe our understanding of persecution and see it as an opportunity for growth and transformation.

In a world that often rejects Christian beliefs, it's easy to see persecution as something negative. However, the Men For Christ rally will show that this is not the case. Persecution can be a catalyst for spiritual growth, deepening our faith and dependence on God.

It's time to see persecution as an opportunity to identify with Christ and stand up for our beliefs, even in the face of opposition.

The rally will feature speakers who have experienced persecution and have emerged stronger in their faith because of it. Attendees will be inspired to see persecution as a chance to grow in character and strengthen their relationship with God. This event will show that it's possible to experience joy in the midst of persecution and that a shift in perspective can make all the difference.

Don't miss out on this life-changing event that will challenge you to embrace persecution as a good thing and find joy in standing up for your beliefs.
