Waneta Button with the Lord

Waneta Button, wife of former IARBC pastor and missionary builder Dean Button, passed away peacefully and met her Savior on Sunday, October 20, 2024. Waneta gave priority to the roles of wife and mother, and served faithfully alongside Dean wherever God led them. She used her time and talents in whatever capacity needed, whether it be cooking and serving meals, teaching various children’s classes, providing childcare, or helping wit physical aspects of service projects. She has had a lasting impact on many people across the span of many years and states, and she and Dean together have been their family’s biggest prayer warriors, leaving a legacy of faith for generations. She was preceded in death by Dean, her husband of 76 years, who passed away in March of this year. A memorial service was held on November 2nd.
