IARBC Staff Highlight
Each week, we will highlight one of our IARBC Churches in our Inside Iowa emails (sign up here)! Learn about the history of our churches, as well as current events in the life of each church and how you can pray for them!
This week, we would like to start by highlighting the IARBC Staff:
Tim Capon currently serves as the State Representative for the IARBC. Tim and his wife, Sandy, served for 28+ years in pastoral ministry in Des Moines and Carroll. Tim grew up in a religious, but unsaved, home, he came to Christ in 1983 in his late 20’s. He responded to God’s call to gospel ministry, left his profession as a civil engineer, and attended Faith Baptist Bible College. Tim and Sandy have been blessed with 46 years of marriage, three children and their spouses, and 11 grandchildren. They enjoy camping, biking, kayaking, and turkey hunting!
Sadie Hatting currently serves as the Administrative Assistant for the IARBC. Sadie is married to Nate and they have 5 children — Creighton (22), Addyson (20), Tyson (16), Landon (13), and Weston (10). Nate is the Ministry Coordinator at Anchor Baptist Church (Des Moines) while Sadie works part-time and homeschools the 3 kids who still live at home. The Hatting family loves to spend time all together, especially hiking and playing board games!
The Council of 10 is an integral part of the IARBC and we are incredibly thankful for the great men who give extra time serving on the Council each year. Please pray for these men as they serve our churches!
